Chem Steel has a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition that you received it
  • Unused, unopened, and in its original packaging
  • Not damaged, altered, or tampered with
  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

Because Chem Steel sells beauty, salon, and professional-use products, we may be unable to accept returns on products that have been opened, used, partially used, or otherwise cannot be resold for health, safety, or product-integrity reasons.

Starting a Return

  • Reason for the return
  • Photos, if the item is damaged, defective, leaking, or incorrect

If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return Shipping

If the return is due to our error, such as a wrong item, defective item, or damaged item, Chem Steel may provide a return shipping label or other return instructions.

For other approved returns, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated by Chem Steel.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or otherwise required by law.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

Contact us immediately if:

  • The item is defective
  • The item is damaged
  • The item is leaking
  • You received the wrong product
  • Part of your order is missing

We will evaluate the issue and work to make it right. Photos may be required before a replacement, refund, or return authorization is approved.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Opened or used beauty, hair care, salon, or personal care products
  • Products with broken seals, missing packaging, or signs of use
  • Final sale items
  • Clearance items
  • Gift cards
  • Special orders
  • Custom or personalized products
  • Products that cannot be returned for health, safety, or product-integrity reasons

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you receive the item you want is to request a return for the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you may place a separate order for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return.

If the refund is approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
